Formed in 2007, The Georgia Generals Minor League Football Organization strives to perform valuable services to both aspiring adult football players and our community at large. By providing continuing football education and experience to players of all levels of achievement and from all walks of life, the Generals endeavor to create the opportunity for advancement to a variety of professional levels to players whose goal it is play football as a career. At the same time, the Generals intend to provide camaraderie, intensity, and an atmosphere of competitive spirit to players who desire to continue playing this great sport as one of their life’s passions. Additionally, it is the mission of the Georgia Generals Organization to provide top notch entertainment and humanitarian services to the Metro Atlanta community through exciting sporting contests and a variety of community outreach programs.
The Generals compete in the Southeastern Conference of the Southern Division of the NAFL (North American Football League.) With over 140 teams nationwide, the NAFL is the nation's largest and best adult minor league football organization. Annually, division winners and select wild card teams compete in the only true national playoff tournament, with one winner being crowned National Champion. This year's Championship Game was held in Las Vegas, NV with Wisconsin's Kane County Eagles taking home the trophy.
